This 5 ft. octagonal picnic table is made of #1 grade hand picked rough cut western red cedar. Each board is planed and sanded then the edges routered to a smooth satin finish eliminating all splinters and cracks. Top is made of 2x6's along with the seats and supports. Table top edge is trimmed with a #1 grade cedar trim to cover the exposed cut ends creating a very elegant and beautiful look. Base cross supports are extra sturdy 2x6's and the entire top is secured from underneath so there are no unsightly screws showing. A big hit with the ladies as there is no need to have to step over the seat as in a conventional picnic table, you can simply slide in. Another added bonus is all bolts are recessed and capped with acorn style nuts so there are no sharp edges. Seat base is an extra wide 32" & 12" deep for extra stability.
